Chinmaya Saxena

He continues the legacy as a third generation Lawyer. He received his Bachelors (Hons.) in Political Science and Governance from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi and LL.B (Law) from the Faculty of Law, University Law College. As the founder of Jaipur Youth Parliament & the Kirori Mal Youth Parliament, he created an innovative platform for youth to understand and gain insight into legislative functioning. His apprenticeship at National Commission for Women (NCW), National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), PUCL, CLRA, inter-alia has enriched his experience in public policy and planning.

Even with his regular schedule in the profession, his passion for reading and learning continues as he has successfully pursued certified courses in, Public Policy, Business and Finance from Yale, Columbia, University of Michigan, London Business School, (Micro Masters) IIM-Bangalore and the IMF.

Smiti Saxena

She is a Project Management Professional & Consultant, worked in varied roles with Tata Consultancy Services and Accenture. She pursued B.Tech (Hons.) in Electronics & Communications, MBA - BITS Pilani, qualified UGC-NET (Management) and is certified PMP from Project Management Institute (USA)-. Besides this, Smiti is a passionate writer. Reading and writing has been her constant companion. She has been the Editor of BITS Business Insights, has won Article Writing events organised by IIM’s. As a debut author, she cherishes the experience of having written this comprehensive study on India Post Independence.

The book results from the brother- sister’s extensive study, research, multiple readings, at-length discussions with teachers, elders and colleagues- their observations, with to - the point presentation, numerous revisions and updates.
